The work reported on, which was carried out in Vigosa, Minas Gerais, Brazil, consisted of preliminary evaluation of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizations in 6 species of eucalypts.
Two experimental periods, of 6 weeks and 18 months, in the nursery and the field respectively, were utilized. The study was initiated in November of 1963 and terminated in July of 1965.
Based on the results obtained it was conclued that there was no effect of the tested fertilizers on growth and survival of the tested
species at the end of 18 months.
