Periodicidade de crescimento em café
Palavras-chave:

Coffee (Coffea arabica L.), although a tropical plant, shows growth periodicity, as has been observed in different parts of
the world. The factors which cause this periodicity seem to be directly linked to the environment rather than to internal conditions. As is the case with temperate plants, short photoperiods may induce low vegetative activity, and low temperatures may overcome this state, making the plant reactive to the ensuing higher temperatures, Other environmental factors, such as water regime, may also be involved under certain circumstances.
