Resumo

This experiment was conducted to study the effects of the interaction of aluminum and phosphorus in soils on plants. Rice plants (Oryza sativa L. cv. TAC 1246’) were grown in a greenhouse in soil abtained from a superficial sample of an oxisol from southern Bahia and submitted to five indices of saturation of aluminum and five doses of phosphorus, in a factorial arrangement in a randomized block design with three repetitions. When the plants were a month old, aerial parts and roots were collected separately for determination fo dry weigh and quantities of phosphorus, calcium and magnesium absorbed.
