Resumo

Experiments were carried out to study the effect of partial acidification of phosphates from Patos de Minas and Araxá, Minas Gerais, in cerrado soils, on phosphate absorption by plants. Phosphate were treated with phosphoric, hydrochloric and sulphuric acids. Trials were run in the greenhouses of the Federal University of Viçosa, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
