Abstract

A trial involving 120 pigs, 72 first-cross Large White x Landrace and 48 three-cross Large White x Landrace x Wessex, was carried out, at the CACISA plant, in Campo Belo, Minas Gerais, Brazil, to study the effects of liquid-whey in rations for growing-finishing pigs, and to determine the best time (based on liveweight) for it's inclusion in the diet.
