Efeito da infecção por fungos micorrízicos do tipo vesicular-arbuscular sobre o desenvolvimento do feijoeiro (Phaseolus vulgaris L.)

Resumo

An experiment was carried out in the greenhouse to determine the effect of vesicular arbuscular mycorrhizal (VAM) fungi, Glomus epigaeum, G. mosseae, G. claroideum, G. macrocarpum, G. fasciculatum, G. monosporum and G. etunica- tum, on the development of bean plants (cv. ‘Costa Rica') inoculated at seeding.

The lowest root infection level was obtained with G. epigaeum. All Glomus species evaluated were efficient in promoting bean growth responses and nutrient uptake. The height of mycorrhizal plants, independent of Glomus species, was greater than that of non-mycorrhizal plants.
