Resumen

The common bean, Phaseolus vulgaris L., was cultivated in a greenhouse using PVC columns filled with clay-like soil material and submitted to six treatments: subirrigation, with ground water tables at depths of 30, 45, 60, 75 and 90 cm; and, surface irrigation, with application every other day.
