Efeito de espaçamento e níveis de adubação na produção de frutos maduros de pimentão (Capscium annuum L)

Resumo

The object of this workwas to study the effects of ferti- lizer levels and spacing on the production of mature fruits of pepper, cultivar "Ikeda".

Three levels of chemical fertilizer with a uniform application of 20 t/ha cured, cow manure were used: level 0, without chemical fertilizer; level 1, 60-52-50 kg of NPK/ha, and level 2 twice the dosage of level 1, The spacings of 20, 35 and 50 cm between the plants, with | m row spacing, were used to obtain the populations of 50,000, 28,571, 20,000 plants/ha, respectively.

The following conclusions were obtained from the results:

1 - The total weight and number of fruits, the number of fruits per plant and early production were increased by the effect of the fertilizer, while the average weight of the fruits was not altered.

2 - The reduction of spacing caused an increase in the total number of fruits produced, while occurred simultaneously a decrease in the number of fruits per plant and the average weight of the fruits
