This is a descriptive work, that is meant for:
a) persuading the animal nutritionist for an exact technic of solving the mixture calculation problem;
b) training beginners in linear programation, through developing an application problem.
This work is developed with comments about the limi- tations from zootechnic origin, much important in making the mathematical model. The equations that controlthe restrictions in the food and nutrients proportions are also considered.
