The 'Vigoja' variety of soybeans was harvested each week for a period of seven weeks, with the first harvest coming 18 day after the maturity of 95% of the pods. The delayed harvest caused practically no increase in pod dehiscence. Seed quality remained at a high level until the third harvest. The percent germination began to decline with the second harvest and reached low levels with the fifth and sixth harvests.
