Resumen

In this paper the author discusses the various methods of administering medicines to domestic animals. He refers particularly to via oral administration and calls the attention to the cares one ought to take when treating animals such as swine, which cannot be forced to swallow. He refers also to methods of administering medicines through the respiratory, venous and genito-urinary systems, as well as through the skin, the subcutaneous tissue, and parenchyma. The cares to be taken when applying medicines through the venous system are emphasized.
