Tendências e projeções do mercado de fertilizantes

Resumen

This paper reports on a study of Brazilian fertilizer markets based on estimates of productions, imports and consumption. Projections of production, imports and consumption were made for the period 1962-65.

Liminations of data and statistical methods were studied. The estimativy equation was a linear function Y = a bx, a least squares adjusted method. The "t" test was used at the 5% level. The authors present an analytical, economic and statistical discussion about government policy to encourage improved Brazilian fertilizer marketing production, importation and use.
