The purpose of this study was to verify the behavior of 14 soybeans varieties and strains in a distrofic red yellow podzolic soil of Espirito Santo State.
The highest production was obtained with the variety 'UFV- followed by "Viçoja", "Santa Rosa", "Mineira", "AC-2", "Jupiter" and the strain "UFY-72-3".
The results showed that only "IAC-2" can be recommended for that region when mechanical harvesting is used.
