Estudo anatômico do enraizamento e da soldadura do enxerto em estaca-enxerto de videira (Vitis spp)

Anatomical studies of rooting and grafting unions Rootinggraftings in grapes showed that:
1) The adventitions root formation originates from the extension of a vascular ray and emerges to the exterior after about 22 to 30 days, however, those that originate from the leaf or branch scar are earlier and more vigorous.
2) The callous tissue formation that originates on the phloem parenchyma and cambium is observed in grafting after 5 days. It develops following the cut surfaces of the grafting and stock.
3) There is an important relation between the adventitious root formation in rooting-graftings and the grafting showed adventitious roots about 7 cm long and initial sprouting ofthe scion.
4) The presence of fungus mycelia coincided usually with a more pronounced callous formation.
Successful grafts obtained with the Rooting-G rafting method were about 50% and those enabled us to save approximately one year in the production of nursey stocks.
