Influência de substâncias indutoras de crescimento e de dois diferentes leitos no "pegamento", enraizamento e desenvolvimento de estacas de figueira

The influence of growthpromoting substances and of twodifferents seed beds on rooting and development of 'Natal' fig cuttings was studied in this experiment.
The ten treatments used includedall combinations of twodifferents seed beds: a) local fertile soil with 10 kg.of manure per square meter; b) three parts of local fertile soil,one part of sand and one of manure; and the following chemical treatments: a) alpha naphtalene acetic acid at 20 p.p.m., b) indol butiric acid at 20 p.p.m., c) indol acetic acid at 20 p.p.m., d) distilled water (wet control) and e) no treatment (dry control).
Spacing of 15 cm, between the lines and 15 cm. between cuttings was used.
Maximum rooting success was obtained by use of: alpha naphta- lene acetic acid at 20 p.p.m. and indol butiric acid at 20 p.p. m. . The best seed bed was that made of local fertile soil with 10kg. of manure per square meter, Maximum stimulation of root system development was obtained with alpha naphtalene acetic acid at 20 p. p. m., followed by indol butiric acid at 20 p.p.m. and indol acetic acid at 20 p.p. m. In order to stimulate the development of the aerial portion of the cutting the best treatments were: alpha naphtalene acetic acid at 20 p.p.m. and indol butiric acid at 20 p. p. m. The best seed bed for stimulation of development of the aerial portion of the cuttings treated with alpha naphtalene acetic acid at 20 p. p. m. was that consisting of three parts of local fertile soil, one part of sand and one part of manure.
