Abstract

Weight gains of Tilapia rendalli (Boulenger. 1896) raised on four different feeds —soybean meal, opaque-2 maize, regular maize. and cotton seed cake—in artificial ponds in Viçosa, Minas Gerais, Brazil, were studied. Gains were not statistically significant, but the fish seemed to prefer the cotton seed cake.
