Greenhouse tests were carried out on five bean varieties ('Michelite', 'Dark Red Kidney', 'Perry Marrow', 'Emerson 847', and 'Rico 23') to determine the correlation of host age and inoculum concentration with susceptibility to three races of C. lindemuthianum.
