Resumo

The effect of plant population density on growth and dry matter partition was studied with a hybrid corn planted at a row spacing of one meter and at densities of 4, 6 and 8 plants/mz, in Viçosa, Minas Gerais, Brazil. A split plot design was used, with samples harvested fortnightly.
