The dry matter, crude protein gross energy contents and the respective apparent digestibility coefficients for ground soybeans, soybean oil meal and ground ear corn were determined. Both the soybeans and the soybean oil meal were studied in mixtu- res with the ground ear corn in the proportions of 25, 50 and 75%. Sheep kept in meta- bolism cages were used for the determinations of digestibility and intake.
The results indicate that mixtures containing soybean oil meal were consumed better than those with ground soy ns.
