The effects of aluminum (0, 2, 4 and 8 ppm) on dry matter production and chemical composition were determined for 2 cultivars of sorghum, one tolerant (CMS x S-106) and one sensitive CMS x S-903) to that element. The plants were grown in a culture solution with a pH 3.8 and with phosphorus at 2 ppm. Plants were harvested at 21 days for analysis.
